What an awesome privilege it is to live in a nation where freedom, though often taken for granted, is enjoyed and extended to all who will abide by the laws of the land. Even our national anthem lyrics mention the United States of America as being the land of the free and the home of the brave. As citizens and those who chose to live in America as citizens, we are truly blessed with freedom and liberties that many around the world can only dream about. Many brave and courageous persons have fought and gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we can enjoy the freedom and liberties that is the symbol of this great nation.

The news is not good! All through year 2012 news and media reports have been economic down turn, tax hikes, wars and rumor of wars! There was a very controversial and heated Presidential election and if that was not enough, we greet the New Year 2013 going over a fiscal cliff! The enemy is running rapid casting doubt and fear in folks, to include those who profess to be believers. These “fear factors” are the things that come to steal, kill and destroy and keep us tense, nervous and traumatized, with a mind preoccupied to point that we cease to move forward by FAITH led by the Spirit of God. What is the Good News? God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)
