Glory to God! I am excited about our new website and very happy to use this means of communications to reach out.

I must admit that I am not a computer guru and really in essence thought that things like “Twitter and Facebook” were of the devil! Yes, a lot of abuse takes place with those mediums, but that shouldn’t stop the Christian from using it for the glory of God! As a matter of fact, many Christians have indeed used it for the glory of God!

One of those advances that I am enjoying is the monthly teleconferences that I have had with the ministers of IDF-Columbus in Columbus, Arizona and Kansas thus far. Yes, IDF-Columbus has contacts in those areas with Ministers Chris and Althea Brown in Arizona. Ministers Charles Finger, Daphne Maxwell and Carla Nwoga, attended our 3rd year anniversary celebration (OCT 2011) and were licensed under the IDF Churches covering. We use the teleconference to stay connected, mentor ministers, hear the vision of the Pastor, and be informed about future ministry possibilities in each of those areas! GOD is doing a work and definitely is up to something! We know that it is something GOOD!

Again, welcome to the new IDF-Columbus website! It is a work in progress and we will continue to improve the site and take advantage of the technology in order to minister and be ministered! I am thankful for Brother Thomas who engineered and put the website together for us. He listened to my desires of what I wanted the website to be about, namely, USER FRIENDLY! Indeed, I thank God for Minister Chris Brown, our webmaster, who after coming back from Korea, came ready to enhance and build the KINGDOM of GOD with his talents and gifts. I thank God for him and indeed look forward to his retirement from the Army so that we can really get together to do ministry side by side as we did in Fort. Riley, Kansas. Thanks Chris for staying on task and keeping your “battle buddy” focused!

This is a great time to be alive and living in the KINGDOM! Stay focused! Don’t turn to the right or the left, but keep your eyes on the LORD and allow the spirit that is within you to lead, guide and direct your way! Proverbs 3:5, 6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge HIM and HE shall direct your paths.”[NKJV] Believe this, trust this, and know that the Lord is with you!
