Minister Althea Brown
Minister Althea Brown hails from Perry, Georgia. Althea obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Fort Valley State University and has held teacher certifications in the following states: Georgia, Hawaii, Kansas, Arizona and currently Texas.
Althea accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior as a child and renewed that fellowship at Minuteman Chapel (Fort Stewart, Georgia) in 1992. She has volunteered in the following capacities:
-Sunday School Superintendent (Sierra Vista First Church of God in Christ)
-Children’s Church president and teacher
-Vacation Bible School assistant director and Station Leader
-Bible Study Teacher
-Sunday School Teacher
-Protestant Women of the Chapel (PWOC): 1st Vice President-Programs, 2nd Vice President-Spiritual Life, and Small Group Facilitator
-Financial Peace University Coordinator
She began her ministerial service at Morris Hill Chapel Gospel Service. She was ordained and licensed by Interdenomination of Faith Church of the Living God under the leadership of Pastor Don German.
Althea’s mission: “If people could see and hear everything you say and do, what would be the Gospel concerning you?” (Matthew 5:16).
Althea has been married to Christopher Brown Sr. for 22 years. She is also the mother of six beautiful children and seven grandchildren.
